"Galloway National will be one of my best course, ever!"
Tom Fazio, Galloway Course Architect

Tom Fazio's outstanding twenty-year career is based on the simple premise that a golf course should reflect the natural beauty of its setting. By this standard Galloway National is blessed with all the ingredients that make waterfront golf courses so endearing - and
so challenging. Gentle contours, dense pine forests, sand and water are the raw materials Fazio used to fashion Galloway National.

Tom Fazio began his career, which would see him reach the top of his profession, as an assistant project director in the family firm in 1967. As his involvement and responsibilities expanded to encompass all the operations of the business, more and more noted courses carried his unmistakable, and widely admired, design "signature."

In its January 1995 issue, Golf Digest featured America's Best New Courses of 1994. For the first in history one golf course architect - - Tom Fazio - - won three Best of Class Awards.

Fazio's Pine Barrens Course at World Woods Golf Club in Brooksville, FL was named Best New Resort Course. In Best New Public Course he scored with Karsten Creek for Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. Completing the "hat trick," the Old Overton Club in Vestavia Hills, AL was named Best New Private Club.

Golf Digest has described Tom Fazio as "an architect of dramatic and fair golf course that brings joy to the serious golfer." That's almost an exact paraphrase of the concept behind Galloway National Golf Club and the design criteria set for Mr. Fazio when he was commissioned for the project.

With Galloway National's 6900 yard, 18-hole championship course now complete, a rich golf experience awaits a select few.
